KARA, in partnership with the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC), has formalized a strategic collaboration to promote peace, security, and cohesion across neighbourhoods and resident associations in Kenya. The partnership aims to strengthen resident engagement in building inclusive and secure communities, combining the expertise of both institutions to enhance national cohesion and foster harmonious coexistence.
As an organization, we emphasized that empowered resident associations are key drivers of peace and community resilience, while NCIC emphasized their role in fostering dialogue and mutual understanding at the grassroots level. This collaboration sets a strong precedent and paves the way for empowered residents, stronger neighbourhoods, and a more united Kenya.
