The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) team paid a courtesy call on KARA CEO Henry Ochieng and Governing Council Member CPA Victor Majani to discuss the role of KARA in the recently established Kenya Millennium Development Fund (KMDF).

The Program is designed to support improvements in multimodal transport system planning, safer access to the mass public transport system, blended financing for the acquisition of low emission buses to be used in the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, and strengthened approaches for land use planning policies, with a focus on the Nairobi Metropolitan Area.
The MCC team consisted of Martha Bowen, Deputy Vice President, Department of Policy and Evaluation; Manal Farah, Country Director; LeJuan Butler, Procurement Office. They were also joined by Dr. Mucemi Gakuru, CEO KMDF.
