Residents and Kenya Power Engage on Improving Service Delivery.

KARA, in partnership with Kenya Power, hosted the KARA–Kenya Power Dialogue Forum in Embu. The important forum addressed service delivery expectations, challenges, and solutions. Residents’ input was key, and both organizations worked together to strengthen accountability and improve services.

The Kenya Power team, led by Eng. Ariel Mutegi (Regional Manager – Mt. Kenya Region) and Samwel Chege (Communications) engaged in an open dialogue with the residents, addressing concerns and responding to questions.

Representing KARA were CEO Henry Ochieng, Board Chairman Richard Nyaga, and Board Treasurer Ephraim Kanake, who highlighted the importance of citizen participation in shaping responsive and effective services. Forums like this empower residents to actively contribute to decision-making, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet resident needs and enhance service delivery for all.
