The Kenya Alliance of Resident Associations (KARA) has organized the 5th Annual Resident Associations Excellence Awards (ARAEA) to identify, reward and celebrate Resident Associations that have demonstrated exemplary performance in promoting access to better services and championing the interests of their members.

The awards are informed by the fact that Resident Associations play a very vital role in enhancing access to public services and improving quality of life in Kenya yet these efforts are rarely recognized and appreciated. Additionally, the awards serve to focus public attention on the importance of Resident Associations in promoting structured engagement with the government and other service delivery players as well as serving the interests of their members.

The call for entries for the 5th Annual Resident Associations Excellence Awards is now open and we invite Resident Associations from across Kenya to submit entries under various award categories as listed here or in the attached background information. Entries can be made online through the following link: Award Entry Form. You may also complete entry form and send to us through email. All entries must be received by 10th March 2023. Any entries received after the closing date will be automatically disqualified.

Regards,
Sarah
