KARA Chief Executive Officer Henry Ochieng and KK Security Group Sales & Marketing Manager Bill Lay exchange documents after signing a memorandum of understanding.

Nairobi-Wednesday, July 13, 2016: The Kenya Alliance of Resident Associations (KARA) and KK Security have teamed up to develop and conduct activities aimed at addressing security challenges at the neighbourhood levels and nationally.

The two parties signed a memorandum of understanding where they both committed to establish a framework for cooperation on understanding the security needs of urban residents; engaging residents in urban areas on security options that can effectively address their needs and creating public awareness on various security issues.

This will be done by conducting needs assessment research in agreed areas and targeting various residents associations; providing platforms for direct engagement between residents associations and security industry experts; informing and educating the public on various security issues.

Present during the ceremony were KK Security Group Sales & Marketing Manager, Bill Lay and KARA Chief Executive Officer Henry Ochieng who signed the memorandum of understanding.
